Teen Gothic

So I've been on the hunt for a while, and I found a site that lists guitar, bass guitar, and drum machines. But I'm not sure that's everything, and I'm horrible at identifying instruments, so my ears don't know either.

Mostly, I'm trying to identify what makes the sound we hear as the track begins.

One thing I've experienced as an "older" goth living in Sweden is that it's not goths that are fighting at the gates but metal heads. I can't count all the times I've been told that I'm not a goth. I don't really care that someone that listens to Burzum doesn't think I'm goth, but I find this kinda amusing. Is this a Swedish thing going on or does it happen elsewhere?

Fun thing is that the last time it happened I was wearing a t-shirt from Klubb Död which is the biggest organizer of shows of the scene in Sweden.

Didn't know whether to label this as a nightclub experience or discussion but choosed the later.

This absolutely rules, so dark and spooky

Desmond Doom is a post-punk artist describing his sound as “if Joy Division and The Smiths started a band in Eastern Europe.”

He’s just released his new EP “LO-FI GOTH” — check it out, and he has a lot of other post-punk content in his YouTube channel such as tutorials and cheeky pastiches of famous bands.

I recently discovered Nox Novacula and I’m loving their latest album as well as the previous one.

What bands are there that have a similar sound?
